Abstract

|
Many studies have shown the positive correlation between knowledge on aging and attitudes toward the elderly people so far. As expected, the positive correlation between them were shown from the 262 respondents in the present study who aged from the early 20s to the late 50s and were caregiving their elderly parents or relatives. Thus, the findings were suggestive that any educational or intervention program for the caregivers should include as well as emphasize upon the knowledge on aging because some caregivers might show negative attitudes toward the elderly people and aging.
